Academia an important part of European good practice with the KEYS! project

From January 2022 to December 2024, the KEYS! project, in which Academia Slovenia participated as a partner, reached an important milestone – it was officially recognised as an example of good practice by the European Commission under the Erasmus+ programme.

The project ran from January 2022 to December 2024 and brought together 10 partners from 9 countries – Finland (lead partner), the Netherlands, Cyprus, Greece, Portugal, Spain, Germany, Norway and Slovenia – with the main objective of improving the integration of migrants into vocational education and the labour market, with a particular focus on the development of key competences, such as literacy, digital skills, STEM fields, personal, social and cultural competences.

The European Commission’s recognition of KEYS! as a success story was not only a confirmation of the quality of the work done, but also an important recognition of the efforts of all the partners involved. Through its contribution, Academia has become an important part of a European network of organisations creating inclusive and innovative approaches to education.
