100 days of internship at a company

You will perform a structured internship in a real work environment, for the period of 800 hours. This gives you an unique opportunity for a faster entry into the job market. If you already have more than 2 years of work experience, which is on the level and from the field of your studies, you may obtain a certificate of acknowledgement for the internship.

Cooperate with our career advisors, who will help you develop your own personal brand, search for employment and offer advice for job interviews. We will personally connect you with employers.

Yes. The study process is adjusted for full-time employees and young adults, who wish to work part-time during their studies

At Academia we offer part-time studies, where the study process is tailored to the needs of employed persons. The studies are equal to full-time studies, regarding the acquired knowledge and competences.

Lectures and tutorials are held in modular for; that means course after course, two (2) to three (3) times per week, between 16:00 and 20:00. If a higher number of students attend the tutorials, additional sessions are held during the time slots from 12:00 to 16:00 or 8:00 to 12:00. The group arrangement is adjusted to the work obligations of individual students.

All study programmes offered by Academia, College of Short-Cycle Higher Education, are accredited and state approved.

Remote studies are not recommended for students, who are without full time employment, and those students, who work and/or live less than 60 kilometres away from the seat of the College in Maribor.

Academia is an accredited private Short-Cycle Higher Education College, which offers state-approved study programmes of the Republic of Slovenia and from the United Kingdom. The programmes are officially inscribed into the Register of the RS Ministry of Education, Science and Sport and the Register of The Business and Technology Education Council (BTEC).

A up-to-date and efficient PC or laptop (should not be older than 5 years), headphones with a microphone, a web cam and internet access (broadband connection with a speed of at least 4/2 Mbps), operating systems: Windows 10 or Mac OS X or higher, web browser: Firefox, Chrome or Safari, PDF document viewer Software.
