Security students on a defensive driving course at the Ljubečna Safe Driving Centre

On Monday, 25 May 2022, students of the higher education study program Security took part in defensive driving laboratory exercises at the Centre of Safe Driving Ljubečna (ZSAM) as part of the course Specialist Driving with the lecturer Mr. Boštjan Perklič.

The exercises consisted of a theoretical introduction, where the key factors affecting driving were presented, such as reaction time, external and internal distractions, driving and managing driving stress, followed by a practical session on vehicle stabilization, coordination in a confined space with the vehicle, driving on wet surfaces, driving between obstacles, and finally a bomb-proof inspection of the vehicle.
