International participants of the PATHS project visit Maribor
On December 2, 2025, Maribor became a hub of ideas, experiences, and inspiration. As a partner in the international PATHS project, co-financed by the Interreg Danube Program, Academia hosted 28 participants from nine Danube countries.
The PATHS partnership aims to improve training opportunities and access to the labor market, especially for young people from disadvantaged backgrounds.
The visit to Maribor was full of inspiration and practical examples:
- Employment Service of Slovenia, Maribor Regional Office – presentation of the e-Svetovanje portal, VKO points, EURES, and the career fair.
- Prizma Foundation – learning about the Mobita SI-AT project and the VšečKAMinGREM+ career center for young people.
- Maribor adult education centre – exceptional practice of working with young dropouts within the PUM project – Project-based learning for young people.
The event strengthened cooperation, exchange of experiences, and emphasized the importance of innovative approaches in supporting young people on their career path.
