Academia participates in the first Erasmus+ learning mobility of the INGENIOUS project at the University of Ioannina, Greece

Academia representative mag. Vida Perko, a member of the ŠTP (Styrian Technological Part) team, took part in the INGENIOUS project training at the University of Ioannina in Greece between 7 and 9 November, where she presented the possibility of using the digital environment in practical education and good practice in the field of digital support for education (eAcademia portal).

Industry 4.0 is changing the world as we know it, and it is necessary to increase digital literacy in all areas. The gap has become even more evident with COVID-19, and distance education. Many otherwise excellent teachers were facing technological problems that were not a problem for their students. The process of education is changing rapidly, and it is necessary to adapt to new realities. The INGENIOUS project (Strengthening digital pedagogy skills and competencies of educators) aims to develop a training program that will contribute to strengthening the digital competencies of education providers.

This project is being implemented transnationally, as:

  1. It brings together knowledge, information and international best practice in VET,
  2. It provides better access to international best practices in education and training, which can be used and compared, and knowledge sharing.
  3. Dissemination and use of results will benefit from the wide dissemination of the partnership.
  4. The main objective of this project is to offer an educational tool for immediate use, which will definitively close the digital skills gap among European VET educators.
