INTEGRA, Erasmus+ project – First coordinators meeting at Academia Maribor

The project INTEGRA, co-funded by the European Union, in which Academia participates as a partner, recently has met some milestones in its progress with the implementation of a coordinators’ meeting.

After experiencing deviations from the original project timeline and after a year of the beginning of the project, the partners from seven organizations in Latvia, Lithuania, and Estonia got together in Maribor. This represented the first physical activity successfully accomplished, a great improvement from the virtual meetings in which the planning loses part of its human interaction.

The coordinators’ meeting in Maribor consisted of revisiting all the activities and actions made by the different participating organizations and planning the next project actions. The most important ones that were discussed had to do with the budgeted “Learning, Teaching, Training Activities”

One of the main aims of the project is to implement Pupils’ exchanges in the different participating countries, bringing students and teachers to experience “pupil-led masterclasses” using STEAM and Robotics. The first one will take place in Maribor, in which Academia together with OŠ Kungota will plan and lead the action.

During the coordinator’s meeting, bureaucracy, documentation, and logistics were discussed and sorted among the project partners, fixing the implementation by late November.
