International Project Meeting for the European Funded Project PreAgri at Academia

Framed in the European Funded Project PreAgri – New Skills Development in Precision Agriculture, past week we hosted a Transnational Project Meeting at Academia

Shortly after the first year of the project life, the consortium members of the European Funded KA2 project PreAgri, New Skills Development in Precision Agriculture, had the opportunity to meet in person for the first time since its beginning.

The event took the shape of a Transnational Project Meeting, an activity that is aimed at monitoring the progress of the project and gathering the different participating institutions together. During our exchange, we further planned the next year of the project, redefined the Gantt chart, and discussed the implementation of the different activities until the date.

As part of the program, we visited the innovative tomato farm of LUŠT, in the municipality of Murska Sobota. There, the partners got the chance of learning more about precision agriculture techniques, and innovative approaches are taken when growing the fruit.

During the second day of the meeting, we held a Steering Committee meeting in which we discussed important topics regarding the project aims and objectives, redefining KPIs and goals.

The next steps will consist of continuing the project work by developing a VET curriculum for farmers in precision agriculture and innovative practices.
