Academia students and Vzajemna employees achieve great success at the Map The System Global Finals at the University of Oxford

The global final of the Map the System competition, organised by the Skoll Foundation under the auspices of the Saïd Business School at the University of Oxford, took place in Oxford from 17 to 19 June.

Slovenia was represented by an excellent presentation on the topic of quality ageing by a team consisting of Vzajemna employees Eva Dežman, Alja Valenti, Irena Blanc and Andrej Šercer in cooperation with students of Short-Cycle hidher education college Academia Maribor Urška Rakovič and Patricija Županovič and BB Consulting’s mentor Ursula Butkovič.

At the same time, a parallel training on systems thinking and the introduction of soft skills in the Academia curriculum, organised by the Skoll Centre for Social Entrepreneurship, took place for the Academia mentors and the Erasmus+ mentors from the business sector.

Prior to the global competition in Oxford, a national competition for mixed teams of Academia students and Vzajemna employees took place in Slovenia.
