Mechanical Engineering
In the thesis I describe the comparison or analysis of two different methods. These are two different reconstruction methods, one of which we have carried out in the past two years on the project ‘Reconstruction of the regional road R2-436 section 1328 Počehova – Zg. Kungota, from km 0 050 to km 5 742”, and I will describe one of these through the research of the thesis. In the next part of the thesis, I will define four hypotheses and compare them with the results of the analyses.
In the first hypothesis, I will compare the two methods described above according to the term plan. I will analyze which method takes longer or less. I shall perform the analyses on the basis of the prepared term plans, which I will prepare in the program MS Project and describe the results on the basis of these.
I predict that the method according to the PZI is 40 % longer than the method of the cold process.
Through the second hypothesis, I will compare the price of the method. I will do a price analysis for the cold process method and compare it with the actual price that we had on the previous project.
The analysis will be done with the help of price analysis. I will do the price analysis on key items or items that differ between the two methods. Here I predict that the cold process method will be 30 % more expensive than the PZI method.
In the third hypothesis, it is a comparison from an environmental point of view, namely I will analyze the intake of exhaust gases into the environment. It is an analysis in which I will determine on the basis of construction machinery and transport, which are the key factors for the intake of exhaust gas into the environment.
I predict that the intake of exhaust gases will increase by as much as 20 % with the method according to the PZI method.
In the fourth, and last hypothesis, I will describe how new technologies can contribute to a more efficient construction process. I will devote this topic mainly to the description of another cold process method.
I think that this would be one of the solutions or methods that could be implemented more in the future, because it would consume less time and at the same time release less exhaust gases into the environment.
