As part of the International Business course, students of the Economics study program were visited by Klemen Hazabent, MA, an expert with many years of experience in international business and director of Blisk livarstvo d.o.o. The guest lecture focused on key aspects of international trade and financial instruments that accompany cross-border business processes. Mr. Hazabent presented students with the challenges and opportunities that companies face when entering foreign markets and emphasized the importance of understanding global trends, trading rules, and relevant financial mechanisms. He explained the use of the most common financial instruments, such as letters of credit, guarantees, and documentary collection, and their role in reducing the risk of non-payment.
