Media production students – audio production module on a tour of Toti Radio

Students of Media Production – Audio Production module visited Toti Radio in Maribor on Friday, 26 April 2024 as part of a professional excursion within the course Project Work in Audio Production.

During the visit to the radio house, students got an insight into different aspects of radio production – from equipment management, content creation, and editorial work, to technical procedures and post-production. Under the guidance of experts and studio staff, they also learnt about creating and producing radio programmes, including programme management, editing, sound processing,g and specialised software.

The excursion gave them direct contact with the real working environment of the radio industry, which helped them better understand the expectations and demands of this medium. They learned about current trends and challenges in radio and gained valuable first-hand experience and advice from experienced professionals.
