HR Management (HND) & Commerce (SCHE)
Students of the Economist – HR Management & Commerce module took part in the Resource and Talent Planning course with the lecturer MSc. Rebeka Tramšek attended the HR Conference of ŠGZ Maribor, which took place on 23 and 24 May at the Grand Hotel Sava in Rogaška Slatina.
On 23 and 24 May 2024, the Styrian Chamber of Commerce and Industry organised the 9th HR Conference HOW? At the event, experts from the field of HR, the Labour Court and constitutional judges presented practical examples of how to put theory into practice.
The first day of the conference, on 23 May 2024, covered topical issues such as working time issues, practical case law, labour relations jurisprudence and manager burnout. Speakers, experts in their field, included Chief Justice Marjan Debelak, detective and President of the Detective Chamber of Slovenia Tina Kramberger and others.
The second day, on 24 May 2024, included presentations on recruiting foreigners and HR challenges. Boštjan Trilar and Tina Galijaševič shared their experiences of recruiting colleagues from Asia and integrating Filipino colleagues, while the Director of Intere d.o.o., Peter Ladič, and the Director of Quantifly d.o.o., Luka Pregelj, gave presentations on best practices in the field of human resources development.
