Understanding the roof is understanding that the roof is not just a roof covering, and that a quality roof does not mean how many years of warranty the individual manufacturer gives. Under a quality roof, one ensures the living conditions. That means the right composition of the roof. In many cases, the wrong choice of roofing layer, the difference in the outside temperature and the humidity from the inside will cause damage to the roof.

With the increasing renovation of roofs in recent decades, more and more solutions are becoming established in parallel. Costs are often the main consideration: the more economical a construction is, the more likely it is to be used. This is certainly an essential aspect, yet standards and professional rules must be observed.

Good thermal insulation requires first and foremost that the insulation layer is airtight because the degree of airtightness is an essential quality feature of a residential building.
Classification of roofs according to pitch. We know flat and pitched roofs, which in turn are divided into cold, which have a ventilation duct between two layers, and warm, which are mainly used for flat roofs. The advantages of a loft or sub-roofing that is installed under the actual roof covering.

We try to answer all these questions by understanding the path of moisture, the formation of thermal bridges, and the use of a vapor barrier or barrier. We know different insulation materials, organic, mineral, and synthetic.

All three meet the technical requirements of efficient use and utilization of renewable resources. Questions arise about properties, fire protection, ecology, and costs. Each project has its own particularities; even with the same insulation properties, different insulation materials can be very different in terms of overall energy balance, durability, costs, and fire protection.

However, if you look at the building as a whole, consisting of living quality, maintenance, and subsequent recycling, supplemented by the corresponding energy and CO2 balance of the building, you can come to a clear conclusion: Building quality is the right direction.
