In my thesis, I address the challenges of electronic invoicing and posting by cost center. By using electronic invoicing, a company can improve its business processes and increase productivity and efficiency. I have used professional literature to write my thesis. The purpose of this is to provide a solid theoretical basis for understanding the concepts of e-invoicing and cost centers.

All data is taken from the annual report for 2022, and so I have analyzed and compared the costs with the previous year, 2021. The cost centers used by the company are described, including which method they use for costs. The thesis contains several key chapters, namely the presentation of the cost centers in the company and the cost analysis.

There is also a presentation on e-invoicing and digitalization in the organization. Examples are also given in these chapters.

I was particularly interested in how the exchange of e-invoices works in the company. The basic concepts of e-invoicing, its advantages, and its role in the digital age are presented. The final research for the thesis summarizes the key findings and highlights the importance of e-invoices for modern business.

Guidance for those considering the introduction of e-invoicing and recommendations for the successful implementation of this digital process is also presented. I described the process of liquidating received invoices, in particular the number of manual entries and suggestions for moving towards a full e-invoicing implementation.

Digitalization also has an impact on the use of e-invoicing, where many of the benefits of today’s modern technologies are being realized. Digitalization increases the efficiency of the invoice exchange process. The transition from traditional invoices to electronic formats enables reliable and faster exchanges between business partners. E-invoices can be processed and booked automatically, reducing the need for manual data entry. T

his in turn helps to speed up billing and improves control over financial flows. Today’s digitalization further allows e-invoices to be stored in the cloud or on secure servers, preventing loss of documentation and damage due to natural disasters. It simplifies the posting process and ensures better traceability, which has a positive impact on financial management and reduces the administrative burden on companies.
