Guest lecture by the Managing Director and Head of Consultants at Processi d.o.o. Dušan Andrejič

As part of the Communication Technologies and Services course of the higher education study program Network Computing, we hosted Dušan Andrejič, Managing Director and Head of Consultants at Processi. d.o.o.

Dušan Andrejič is an expert in cloud migration and the founder of Processi d.o.o. His extensive experience in cloud computing has made him one of the leading experts in the industry. Processi d.o.o., of which Mr. Andrejič is the founder, is a renowned SAP business software company. The company specializes in helping clients move to the cloud and optimize business processes. With a comprehensive understanding of cloud technologies and extensive experience implementing innovative solutions, Processi has become a trusted partner for many companies.

The main chapter of the guest lecture was a presentation of the cloud migration process of the business software provider SAP. The content of the lecture was extremely topical and informative. The students received an overview of the different cloud providers and learned about the companies that support cloud computing. The differences between open source and proprietary tools were presented, as well as the advantages of open source versus closed source solutions. In the second half of the lecture, the different open-source tools for Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Software as a Service (SaaS) were presented. Guests will also learn about the available tool architectures and the features they support.
