    ERASMUS+ and OTHERS: Your home university or college should first nominate you to the Office of International Relations of Academia. The nominations should be sent to info@academia.eu.

    After your home university has nominated you to study at Academia as an exchange student, you will receive an application form.Together with the completed application form, you need to submit the scans of the following documents: Transcript of Records (of your home university), Learning Agreement and Language Certificate.
  • 3 korak
    After we have received your application and your host department has approved your application, we will send you an Acceptance letter and information on living and studying in Maribor.

Pogoji glede znanja jezika

Academia offers instruction in the following languages: Slovenian and/or English.

Academia requires that the student has sufficient good language skills (very good knowledge in reading, writing and speaking of the language) in at least one of the two languages in order to be able to study here. Sufficient language skills refer to level B2 on the CEFR scale of the European Language Portfolio Levels.

How to prove the language skills in Slovene or English

  • Language skills are listed on the Transcript of Records of the home university; or
  • Submit the Language Certificate with CEFR scale; or
  • Submit TOEFL score of 79 (IBT) or IELTS score of 6 for English, or any official certificate
  • Results from the OLS (Online Language Support)

Namestitev

Incoming exchange students can choose to stay in Academia’s partner student dormitories or private accommodation. Students may choose from single, twin or triple rooms with shared bathroom and a shared kitchen. All accommodations provide wi-fi internet. The price of the room depends on the type of apartment and the size of the room. The average price per person per month in a twin room is 250 EUR per month including all utility costs (electricity, water, internet, heating, etc.) as well as live-in support for your studies and living in Maribor.

Live-in and social activity leaders are there for students to provide them with the best possible exchange.
